Tilson congratulates Bolton PROBUS on 10th

Cliff Arner, Ross Gillanders, Claudette Dalgleish, MP David Tilson and Peter Drake mark the 10th anniversary of PROBUS.
David Tilson, MP for Dufferin-Caledon, congratulated the Bolton District Probus Club on its 10th anniversary Oct. 11, at the Caledon Seniors' Centre, during the club's monthly meeting.

Earlier in the morning David had co-hosted his third annual Bolton Seniors Information Expo with the club, where approximately 50 PROBUS members and senior citizens participated.

The Bolton District PROBUS Club is a non-profit organization and is a social gathering for active retirees (men and women) to stimulate thought, interest and participation in various activities. The club serves Bolton, Caledon, and King Township, and has a membership of at least 50 people.

Tilson presented club president, Claudette Dalgleish, with a congratulatory certificate and participated in a cake-cutting ceremony with her, as well as past-presidents Cliff Arner, Ross Gillanders, and Peter Drake.

Tilson congratulated the Club on, "successfully engaging retirees across Bolton, Caledon, and King Township through exciting social activities and inspiring meetings. I commend the Club on its outstanding efforts to stimulate goodwill, diversity, and a sense of belonging for all members. It has become an integral part of our community and I wish it continued success!"
