FIRE HALL OPEN HOUSES

Fire stations in Alton, Palgrave and Bolton all held open houses for the public Saturday. A big attraction at the Alton fire station open house was the pancake breakfast. Alton volunteer firefighters Don Rea (foreground) and Cory Boys handled the cooking duties. Rea is also a full-time firefighter in Bolton.
At the Palgrave fire station 306 open house, Palgrave volunteer firefighter Pamela Hall, who's also a full-time firefighter in Bolton, was showing the inside of one of the fire trucks to Owen Rocchi, 5, Aiden Stannard, 4, and Kyle Rocchi, 2.
At the Alton fire station 301, volunteer firefighter Sean O'Hanlon was showing one of the fire trucks to Skye Carricato, 12, Brittney Winton, 12, Marc Filice, 8, Donna Fraser, Adam Filice, 7, Brandon Adams, 9, and Kaitlyn Winton, 12.
At the Bolton fire station 302 open house, captain Phil Donovan (left) and firefighter Mike Kirk (right) gave a tour of the fire truck to (l to r) Jordan Piccinin, 10, Jacob Turpin, 4, Malina Piccinin, 3, Brandan Piccinin, 3, and Dylan Turpin, 4, all from Bolton. Malina and Brandan are twins and the rest are all cousins.
