Turkey supper at Bolton United Nov. 3 Isn't Thanksgiving great? Every year you probably ask yourself why we don't eat turkey more often. Well here is your chance to enjoy turkey again and to support a good cause. Saturday, Nov. 3, Bolton United Church will host its annual Turkey Supper, a delightful and satisfying evening for all who attend. Delicious turkey will be served up with all the traditional trimmings, including mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberries, vegetables and wonderful home made pies for dessert. This tradition has been going on at Bolton United Church for more than two decades and is a key fundraiser for the church. Bolton United Church provides not only a full set of programs for the church-going set, but it also houses a Montessori school and many other community groups. In the last few years, Bolton United Church has been focused on a building renovation, protecting and enhancing the beautiful 125- year-old church building. The goal is to make the church building as accessible and welcoming to all people. So come and join the fun Saturday, Nov. 3 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $15 and tickets for children (5 to 10) are $6. Children under 5 are free. Highchairs are provided. Take out dinners are available. Call the Church office at 905- 857-2615 for tickets. |
