TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23

"Help for Working Parents Workshop: Your Child's Self Esteem", 7-9 pm. Learn impact of media on children's self esteem. Child care is not available. To register, call the Caledon Parent- Child Centre/Ontario Early Years Centre 905-857-0090.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 25

Caledon Seniors Centre hosts a bus trip to Casino Rama. $8/person. Coach leaves Centre 9 am; returns 5 pm. Call 905-951- 6114.

The West Humber Naturalists meet 7:30 pm, at Vellore Hall (9545 Weston Rd, Vaughan). Speakers: Joanne Nonnekes, Gene and Charlene Denzel will present a power point slide show on their 2006 birding trip to Ecuador's Andes mountains and tropical coast land.

Halloween Family Fun, 5-7 pm, at the Caledon Parent-Child Centre. Kids can put on their costume, and enjoy a free Halloween craft, playroom activities and bedtime stories at 6:30 pm. Face painting available for a small fee. Call 905- 857-0090.

Peach Ranch Annual General Meeting, 7 pm, at the Caledon Community Complex, Caledon East. Speaker: Isabel Fryszberg, Director of Creative Works Studio, on "Art as Therapy". Refreshments to follow. Everyone welcome.

Halloween Haunted Castle set up in Bolton Canadian Tire east parking lot at the following times Fri 6-9 pm; Sat & Sun 12noon-6 pm; Mon & Tue 6-9 pm. Admission $6/person; Family of four $20. Proceeds to The Remembrance Project, The Royal Canadian Legion, and The Juno Beach Centre.

Caledon East United Church and Community Womens Circle Christmas Craft Shoppe & Bake Sale, 9-3 pm, at Caledon East United Church (6046 Old Church Rd). Home made crafts and baked goods, Santa Fund draw, nearly new table, antique & collectible books, artisan craft vendors. Refreshment café available.

Christmas In Caledon Bazaar, 9 am start, at the Masonic Hall in Caledon East. Sponsored by the Order of the Eastern Star. Crafts, toys and gifts for all ages.

CACY (Caledon Arts & Crafts for Youth) celebrates its 50th Anniversary with a free Open House at the Caledon Community Complex, Caledon East, 10:30- 4:30 pm. CACY artist/teacher demos, oldtime vendors, CACY historical and childrens art displays, and also the CACY café. Visit www.cacy.ca.
