Caledon Inn Spirit Walk

A "spirited" group met at Bolton's Into the Mystik, Saturday evening, Oct. 20 for a meet and greet before carpooling to the Caledon Inn on Airport Road, just north of Caledon East. The group was excited to meet their hosts, the ghosts!

At the Inn, general manager Colin McClellan, gave a quick historical summary of the property and building built in 1823, claiming credit as one of the oldest buildings in Caledon. The ghost hunters were not supplied with many details at the start. It was important to minimize the influence of the Inn's history as the group would count on their clairaudient, clairsentient, and clairvoyant skills to build a story of who, what, when, where and why as the evening progressed.

Starting with an outside walk, the group followed a path that took them to the foundation of the original barn to spend several minutes gathering impressions, thoughts and visions. Digital cameras were put to use throughout the evening to document orbs or other spirit activity. The group walked a path through the back of the property returning to the Inn banquet room to share pictures and thoughts while enjoying Caledon Inn appetizers and beverages.

Splitting into two smaller parties next, one half spent time in meditation in the dining room, the other half meditated in the upstairs banquet room. Switching locations the two groups continued to seek spirit contact.

Finally, closing in on midnight, a smaller group went into the basement area to gather impressions, after which all returned to the dining room to discuss pictures and findings.
