CANADIAN TIRE CARES ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Through Canadian Tire's many donation programs, such as the Foundation for Families, Jump Start and events such as carnivals, haunted houses and dunk tanks, money is regularly put back into our community through Caledon Community Services. Canadian Tire owner Harold Robbins and manager Mike Mizzen handed cheques totalling $8,708.53 to Jo-Anna Lenz of CCS. This money was raised locally at the Bolton store. Canadian Tire's employee fitness program enables them to donate equipment to the Wellness Centre. The Jump Start program provides families that are having financial difficulties the opportunity to send their children to physical activities such as organized sports, dance, etc. This is done through CCS and the Wellness Centre. Canadian Tire also sponsors six local soccer teams, four hockey teams, two baseball teams and one lacrosse team, to mention just a few. Canadian Tire is committed to the community.
