Lighting earns shutout over Brampton Bombers

Caledon Lightning peewees won 3-0 against the Brampton Bombers in their second game of the season. In the BYHA Intra City League peewee division visiting team Caledon Lightning were at the Powerade Centre, Brampton. Goals were scored by Tyler Tiessen, Michael Tepper and Cody Tremblay, assisted by Cody Tremblay, Tyler Tiessen, Patrick Bourne.

Brampton Bombers' goalies saw a good deal of action, too. Among the many attempts were tries by Kyle Milik, Christian Brugger, Patrick Bourne and Luke McAree.

The 2007/2008 Caledon Lightning peewee team line-up includes Kristian Balinov, Patrick Bourne, Christian Brugger, Hayden Gorman, Luke McAree, Kyle Milik, Michael Tepper, Cody Tremblay, and Dylan Yandeau on forward; and Alex Brugger, Charlie Hird, Mitchell Lovell, Michael Sheridan and Tyler Tiessen on defense; plus in goal Paul Moratti and Ryan Woodworth.

According to coach Mike Sheridan; "There was tremendous focus and effort by the Lightning boys. Demonstrating good team play, they held together despite being short-handed during most of the third period. Their efforts brought them ahead and maintained the shut-out, coming away with a win."
