Committee to be formed

Caledon council wants an ad hoc committee formed to develop guidelines for dispersal of funds from the Caledon Community Development Fund.

The committee will include three councillors, the clerk and treasurer, or their designates.

The existing community event funding will be incorporated into the Caledon Community Development Fund. The fund and its guidelines will be reviewed by an ad hoc committee of council after four years.

Community groups have approached council for assistance in producing community events intended to raise money, enhance community strength or achieve other community goals.
