SALAMANDER FESTIVAL A HIT

Belfountain was a
hive of activity Saturday for the annual Salamander Festival. These youngsters
got a chance to see a native Jefferson blue-spotted salamander up close.
Unfortunately, oils from skin contact make handling the creatures risky.
