Holy moly, what a goalie! The Caledon Blackhawks minor atoms played their second game of the season Sept. 22 at Mayfield arena. The team played a solid game, but lost 4-0 to the Brampton Snipers. Goalie Russ McCanna started the game in net, with Steven Nelson playing the second half of the game, both goalies showed exemplary skill. Awesome defence came from Luke Caleca and Lucas Mizzi, and great offence from Chris Cola and Steve Luongo for numerous shots on net. David Ryan was the coach's pick for player of the game for his hard work and hustle. |
