Skating club offers volunteer opportunity Caledon Centennial Skating Club is in need of volunteers to act as program assistants in the Can Skate and Power Skating classes. This is an excellent opportunity for secondary school students to earn credit for their community service volunteer hours. Program assistants help the professional coaches in the learn-to-skate classes as well as the Power Skating classes for hockey players. Present and former figure skaters as well as hockey players are required in these positions. Skating classes commence Sept. 30. Sessions are held at both Lloyd Wilson Arena in Inglewood Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and the new arena in Caledon East on Thursdays. If you can skate and can give an hour or two of your time each week over the fall and winter months, Caledon Centennial Skating Club is the place to be.
