Man charged in double fatal

Charges have been laid by Caledon OPP against the driver of the dump truck that collided with a car within the intersection of Mayfield Road and Airport Road in Caledon Thursday, Sept. 13.

The collision claimed the lives of 19-year-old Vanessa Diceglie and her sister, 23-year-old Isabel Diceglie of Brampton.

Twenty-eight-year-old Gurjant Singh Sidhu of Etobicoke was charged with two counts of Criminal Negligence Causing Death. He was held for a bail hearing Sept. 19.
