Marijuana eradication at a Caledon property

Monday, Sept. 10 at 9:35 a.m., members of the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by Caledon OPP Street Crime detectives, conducted marijuana eradication at 6916 Patterson Sideroad in Caledon.

Police had received an anonymous tip of possible 200 to 300 plants at this outdoor grow location. On scene, police located approximately 4,000 plants ranging in heights from four feet to eight feet.

Plants removed from the property are said to be valued at approximately $4 million. The plants were found in an isolated location, likely unknown to the property owner. No arrests were made.
