Second victim dies

It is with sadness that Caledon OPP reports the death of the second victim of a two-vehicle collision that occurred at Mayfield Road and Airport Road last week in Caledon.

On Saturday evening (Sept. 15), 23-year-old Isabel Diceglie succumbed to injuries sustained in the Sept. 13 collision. Her younger sister, Vanessa, 19, died Thursday when the vehicle they were travelling was involved in a collision with a transport truck.

A commercial motor vehicle travelling southbound on Airport collided with a Honda Civic turning from Mayfield Road onto Airport Road.

The driver of the commercial motor vehicle, 29-yearold Gurjant Singh Sidhu was uninjured.

Ministry of Transportation officials are on scene as well as Technical Collision investigators from OPP Central Region.
