RIDE grant

An agreement was recently reached between the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services and Caledon council that will see the ministry provide an $8,000 grant to the Town to offset its staff costs for an enhanced RIDE program.

The grant covers the period from April 1, 2007, to Feb. 29, 2008. The Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere program is an effective deterrent against drinking and driving.
