147th Caledon Fall Fair a fun celebration

Many different kinds of cows were exhibited at the Caledon Fall Fair on Sunday.
The group MUSCLE (McArthur Unger Simmons Creating Loud Entertainment) played classic rock music inside Caledon Village Place at the Caledon Fall Fair on Sunday. Michael McArthur and Jake Unger are both playing guitar, Scott Simmons is playing bass and David McArthur is playing the drums. The boys are all 14 years old and from Bolton and attend The Humberview school. They won the Bolton Idol contest earlier this year and will be playing at this year's Bolton Fall Fair.
Barbara Bolce of Adjala Township showed how to spin Angora rabbit hair on the spinning wheel inside the Caledon Fall Fair Agricultural Awareness Tent.

Aerron and Amanda Kirby from Whole Village near Alton had lots of food for sale at the Caledon Fall Fair farmers market Sunday.
The contestants in the Caledon Fall Fair Caledon Idol competition held Sunday at Caledon Village Place included (l to r) Julia Hrynkiw, 12, Melissa Reeves, 15, Rebecca Reeves, 15, Laura Grossi, 13, Michelle Woodhouse, 11, Stephanie Frangione, 10, Jessica Mason, 10, and Carly Markham, 12. The winner was Laura Grossi, a Grade 8 pupil at Pope John Paul II school in Bolton. The judges were Kerri Silva of Mississauga, who's in music industry arts at Fanshawe College, Barb Jensen, a music and drama teacher at Credit View public school, and Neil Hardie, president of Caledon West Rotary.
The Caledon Fall Fair senior ambassador for 2007-08 is Mike Dibling and the junior ambassador is Heather Banks.
