Articles were great

I never write to any papers, however, upon reading the two articles in the Aug. 15 issue I could not help myself.

Claire Hoy's article regarding Hart House was right on the money. I agree with him completely.

It's about time shooting sports got a little as we say good press. Too many times we see negative press on a great sport just because we see an unregistered firearm used in the commission of a crime.

The second article I found really great is the one on the OLC. I have been saying to my wife for a long time now where is all the lottery money going? They are bringing in Billions and nobody ever finds out where it is going. We are taxed to death and this money, that would solve most of our problems, just seems to disappear or the provincial government decides to give associations such as the cricket association four times the money they need so they invest the balance until someone finds a way to steal it. Meanwhile the Ontario taxpayer keeps right on paying. Great article. I hope we get some answers.
