Walmsley wins golf tourney

Jed Walmsley of Cheltenham shot rounds of 76 and 76 for eight over par to win Canadian Junior Golf Association's Northern Ontario PGA Junior Championship in the boys age 17 to 19 division, held Aug. 8-9 at Timberwolf Golf Club in Garson, Ontario.

The course was a par 72 with a distance of 6,535 yards.

Walmsley finished one shot ahead of Brennan Doyle of Sudbury.
