Caledon seniors' centre's September fall kick-off
By Lloyd Bittle

Join our winning team and make it a harvest of good times for fall. Our program, travel and activity committees have put together a full schedule of activities and trips to suit your wishes and suggestions.

Back to school, the CNE wraps up, Labour Day weekend, times to remember fondly and now! Welcome fresh corn on the cob, a grand fall harvest of food and the many local fairs and festivals available to us.

Our centre's south side has had a facelift. Storage shed to a more fitting location; shuffleboard upgrade with the addition of protective wind barriers. Additional, much-needed parking spaces provided to our front the east side. Bus roundabout for the Wellness Centre addition and finalized landscaping activity under way. Our thanks to the many green thumb volunteers who have given us a beautiful property and setting for our Centre. All days and all hours they are busy cultivating and caring for our green, flowered gardens. We thank you for this beautiful enjoyment.

Our monthly dinners and entertainments have been a great success. Late arrivals seeking door admissions create capacity and accommodation difficulties. Our maximum seating due to space limitations has been established at 100 persons both members and non, all are welcome. Members receive priority. To ensure your seat(s), sign the office attendance list sheet indicating your reserved seating you select and ensure your payment is received one week prior to the dinner date. Changing your seating must only be done with seating attendant's approval. Efficient dinner and seating accommodation will please you and us. Memberships are available any time. $15/year provides a 20% saving towards membership cost on regular non-member dinner & entertainment costs. If you attend our dinners regularly as a visitor, non-member (5) dinners savings pays your year membership and guarantees you the many member privileges. Treat yourself kindly and join now! Help us help You! Be a Caledon active seniors' centre booster.
