Town gives $10,000 for study

Caledon council recently approved contributing $10,000 to the Highway 50/Highway 427 Extension Area Transportation Master Plan.

The study cost is estimated at about $100,000. Peel region and the City of Brampton will split evenly the balance of the cost.

Caledon's contribution is 100 per cent recoverable from development charges.

Council also directed staff to participate in the transportation master plan.
