Strawberry Festival a hit thanks to many

We wish to thank everyone who helped to make this year's Caledon Village Strawberry Festival such a success.

The 160 gallons of pancake batter made and mixed, and poured on to five double griddles were served piled high with 65 flats of fresh Caledon strawberries.

Dan Lightfoot did a great job as MC and the Legion men raised the flag as Jessica Mason sang O Canada.

The Peace Ranch petting zoo was a hit, as were the clowns and Jimbo. The live entertainment on the showmobile was appreciated by all, as were the displays in the Heritage Hall. The silent auction run by the Graham family continues to be a big success. The car show has grown yearly and had more than 120 beautiful cars. The dog show is always a winner!

This could not have happened without the energy of the volunteers who worked tirelessly to have the events and food on the fairgrounds ready for the public to enjoy on Canada Day. Thanks to all who came out and supported us, and to the Caledon Citizen for all the great publicity. A big thank you to everyone who made this such a successful strawberry festival.
