Watch for leisure guide

Have you received your cool blue magazine in the mail yet? It's the one with the boy on a red toboggan, poised to push off the top of a snow-covered hill. Make sure you keep it when you do get it … it's the Town of Caledon's latest guide to services and leisure activities.

The 2007 "Your Caledon: Leisure & Town Services Guide" for the upcoming fall and winter season will be mailed to every resident in Caledon at the beginning of August. This useful resource offers details about recreational programs, town facilities, departmental services, library information and more.

"Sports, recreation and leisure activities contribute to our health and wellbeing," said Mayor Marolyn Morrison. "Our recreation and property services department is committed to offering the best ways to keep active in order to enhance the quality of life for our residents."

If you don't receive your copy in the mail, contact the recreation and property services department (905- 584-2272, ext. 4235), or stop by any Town facilities to pick up a copy.
