After a long journey, the Islington Dental Academy College of Higher Learning has opened its doors offering courses in dental hygiene and dental chairside assisting. The academy is a registered and approved Private Career College.

Classes are starting now for students interested in a new and exciting career.

The founders of the academy, Dr. John Chiarot and Dr. Ecaterina Manea marked the opening of the college with the cutting of the ceremonial ribbon. Special guests, including MPP Mario Sergio and Toronto Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti attended the event. Tours of the facilities were provided to all that were interested.

The Islington Dental Academy teachers are carefully screened, the location newly renovated and students are trained in accordance with industry standards. This institute is exclusive as it offers hands-on training in a real dental office. The academy will also provide assistance to the students when it comes to seeking employment. The academy's career services department will support graduates in résumé writing, preparing for job interviews and provide strategies to learn how to gain a job in their chosen profession.
