Husky donates to Kidz to Kamp program

Debbie Malevris (right) of Caledon Community Services, accepts a donation to the Kidz to Kamp program from Carine Strong (left), Husky's director of customer relations.
In the spirit of their unparalleled industry standards, Husky Injection Molding Systems in Bolton has donated an unprecedented $7,000 to Caledon Community Services's Kidz to Kamp program.

It's Husky's wish that every qualifying child is taken care of this summer and none remain on the registration roll, wishing for a camping experience but unfortunately left wanting.

"Husky encourages the entire Caledon business community to invest in their own neighbourhood", said Carine Strong, Husky's director of customer relations. "Caledon is prosperous and welcoming, and the welfare of children and youth should be a priority".

Caledon Community Services provides support to many families and their children across Caledon. Support comes in many forms: emergency prescriptions, food vouchers, help with heat and certainly a reprieve during the summer.

"This incredible initiative is made possible through the generosity of Husky to the Caledon community," said Debbie Malevris, manager of fund-raising and development in CCS. "We also salute countless businesses and individuals, to whom we are most grateful."

Husky, we are listening! The value of Kidz to Kamp is in the camping, tutoring and other educational experiences that it provides to children and youth; it leaves a legacy in skills and memories that can last a lifetime.
