KNIGHTS' SCHOLARSHIP
Samantha Ciarlandini was awarded the prestigious Fr.
Henk van den Berg Scholarship by the Bolton Knights
of Columbus Council at the R.F. Hall graduation
ceremonies June 25. This is a $1,000 scholarship
awarded annually to a student proceeding on to
college or university, in recognition of their
contributions to the community, as well as their
academic achievements. Samantha was also
recognized at the graduation ceremonies in the
categories of Outstanding Contribution in Religious
Education, Outstanding Achievement in Dramatic
Arts, and Catholic Student of the Year. This
scholarship was created in 1996 to recognize Fr.
Henk, a long-time pastor at Holy Family Church, on
the occasion of his 40th year of ordination. The award
was presented by Grand Knight John Ranieri.
