Ball hockey blowouts in IBHL round robin action

As round-robin playoff action continues in the Inglewood Ball Hockey League, wide win margins emerged.

July 17

Gould Fasteners 9,

CEAV 3

Point getters for Gould were Sean Thompson, Justin Dixon, Pierre Philipon, Joe D'Sousa, Jesse Leitch, Rob Horton, Craig Size, Dave Stenning, and Jason Puopolo. CEAV net-nabbers were Bruce Morris from Brock Hill and Alex Ball, Chris Teeter from Hill and Morris, and Ball from Curtis Gregson and Kyle Wonfor.

Blue Team 4,

Valleywood Longhorns 1

After a scoreless 1st Blue got on the board in the 2nd with Lee Erwin from Tom Laurenza and Shaun Heron, and Heron from Craig Shaw. The 3rd saw Owen Speirs net one unassisted and Matt Speirs from Owen round out the scoring. Valleywood's lone lamp lighter was Ryan Spiteri from Adam Minatel and Matt Mazzaferro.

Scoring for Mr. Handyman were Claudio Ramalo, Marcio Rodrigues, Bobby Evong, Pat Cerveira, Emile Ferlis, Luca Zelikovic and Paul Medeiros.

Mike Zimmerman with the hat trick turned out to be Carney's main man; other net nabbers were Brandon Looby, Kevin Alves and Brennan Grange. Sports Unlimited 3 In a nail-biter Valleywood proved a little too much for Sports on this night.
