Free tree planting workshop at Legion

The Trees Ontario Foundation will be hosting a free tree planting workshop Thursday, July 26 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 371, 50 Ann Street, in downtown Bolton.

The workshop will educate the public on how trees can play an important role in helping to clean our air and protect our water. Attendees will also learn the basics of tree care, including, how to properly plant a tree, how to deal with summer drought, and how to identify diseased trees.
