Streets to be closed in Alton

Caledon council is considering closing and disposing of all Alexander Street, Catherine Street and Stevens Street in Alton.

The three streets are unconstructed road allowances on the north side of Queen Street East.

Youth With A Mission, which is the largest landowner in the area of the streets, wants to acquire all of Catherine Street and part of Stevens Street, but before the road allowances can be disposed of they must first be closed.
