Budget hiked for seniors' project

Peel regional council approved an increase for Phase 2 of the Walker Road Seniors' Apartment project, which will be combined with phase 1 funds, for a total project budget of $6.05 million. The Walker Road expansion project was submitted for funding under the Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing Program. Peel has been approved to receive $1.25 million to support capital costs to construct the expansion.
