Speed limit is reduced

The posted speed limit on Humber Station Road from Patterson Sideroad to Highway 9 was recently reduced by Caledon council to 60 kilometres per hour from 80 km-h.

This section of Humber Station Road is currently an unpaved gravel road.

Town staff recently conducted a field review of the road and recommended the speed limit reduction along with the installation of posted speed limit signs, additional warning signs and road side delineation signs to improve road safety.
