Contract is awarded for McEwan work

The contract for the completion of road works and sidewalks along McEwan Drive East in Bolton was recently awarded by Caledon council to IL Duca Contracting Inc. for its low bid of $233,976.50, excluding GST.

There were seven other bids ranging in price from $256,539.50 to $366,000.

The contract includes completing the planned connection of McEwan Drive East to Commercial Road, and the construction of a sidewalk and streetscaping works on the south boulevard of McEwan Drive East in front of the Canadian Tire store.
