Motorcycle rider killed in collision

Caledon OPP and OPP Technical Collision Investigators are continuing their investigation of a fatal motor vehicle collision Thursday, June 28 at roughly 5:24 p.m. on Humber Station Road, south of Castlederg Sideroad in Caledon.

A southbound motorcycle collided with the trailer of a northbound dump truck on Humber Station Road.

Tragically, the motorcycle rider, 24-year-old Kyle Fagan of Mulmur Township, did not survive and was pronounced dead after being transported to Headwaters Hospital in Orangeville.

The dump truck driver, 54-year-old Augustus Quintan of Brampton, was not injured.

The investigation is continuing. Any further witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the investigating officer, Constable P. Beaton of Caledon OPP at 905-584-2241.
