Police looking for witnesses in murder case OPP officers are investigating the murder of an adult male. The body of 24-year-old Jermaine Cameron, of no fixed address, was discovered in a wooded area near Duffy's Lane and Patterson Sideroad in Caledon, the morning of June 26. Cameron was known to have frequented the Bolton area. He was known to drive a 2000 green Chevy Impala. Police would like to speak to any one who may have seen Cameron or his vehicle in the hours or days leading up to the discovery of his body on the morning of June 26. Any information concerning this investigation should be reported to OPP Caledon Detachment Crime Unit, Detective Constable Kevin Connor at 519-927-3041. A strictly anonymous report can also be made through the Crime Stoppers program at 1-800-222-TIPS. The investigation is continuing under the direction of Detective Inspector Dave Quigley, OPP Criminal Investigation Branch. Cameron's body was discovered by people walking along a path in the area of the Trailway near Palgrave. Police also want to speak with any persons who may have been in the parking lot at the west entrance to the Palgrave Woods on the night of June 25 or the morning of June 26. |
