BLOOD DONOR WEEK

June11-16 was National Blood Donor Week and Greg Unger of Caledon East gave a donation at the Albion Bolton Community Centre last Tuesday. He was thanked by Bill Coleman, regional manager donor services with Canadian Blood Services Central Ontario Region, Canadian Blood Services volunteer Don Bowman and Audrey Smith, phlebotomist with Canadian Blood Services. June 14 was World Blood Donor Day. It's the day when 192 World Health Organization members and more than 200 voluntary blood donor organizations recognize the selfless act of blood, plasma, platelet and bone marrow donation
