Chef's Challenge July 9 in Caledon

Chef Jean-Charles Dupoire of The Fairmont Royal York Hotel, is among the high-calibre chefs participating in the upcoming fund-raiser.
Chefs from the premiere restaurants and catering companies across the region will be joined by renowned chefs from Toronto for a sinfully delicious evening of "sip and savor" Monday, July 9 from 4-9 p.m.

The lakeside setting of the beautiful Royal Ambassador, in Caledon, will host the first-ever "Chef's Challenge" with each of the selected 24 culinary specialists showcasing their signature dish. Attendees will determine, through a 'People's Choice' style system, the premier chef in each category, plus the Chef Challenge Grande Award.

Wine pairings for each of the chef creations will be orchestrated by Carriage Trade Wine & Spirits expert, Hugh Sutherland.

Tickets are now available for the Chef's Challenge at $100 per person, including taxes and parking. Call 905-584- 5838 or e-mail caledontickets@sympatico.ca. Proceeds from the Chef's Challenge will be donated to support Family Transition Place which provides advocacy, shelter and counseling to abused women and children in Caledon and Dufferin.
