Bolton Wanderers U10 girls victorious at Waterloo tourney

The sun and hot temperatures were no match for the Bolton Wanderers girls' under 10 team June 16 and 17.
The first game against North Toronto resulted in a 3-0 win with goals scored by Amanda Scarafile, Sarah Cola and Erika Porco.
The team's second game of the day finished with a 5- 0 win against Waterloo Gold. Two goals were scored by Jennifer Smith while Sarah Cola, Erika Porco and Kennedy Bechard all scored one goal each.
Sunday morning, the girls won their semifinal game against North Toronto again with a score of 4-0. Goals in this game were scored by Victoria Bozzo, Jennifer Smith, Amanda Scarafile and Kennedy Bechard.
The girls' final game saw them shut out Niagara Falls with a score of 4-0. Two goals were scored by Erika Porco while Jennifer Smith and Victoria Bozzo scored one each. There were a few tense moments when Niagara Falls had a penalty shot but goalie Vanessa Fiore kept her cool and stopped the shot with little effort.
The team's defence of Logan Hanczyk, Amber Bateman, Stephanie Guhl and Alexandra Micieli ensured there was no getting through which resulted in a tournament with no goals against!
The team's forwards, consisting of Sarah Cola, Jennifer Smith, Erika Porco, Amanda Scarafile, Alessia Grano and the midfielders Victoria Bozzo, Kennedy Bechard and two goalies Valentina Gonzalez and Vanessa Fiore worked well together to ensure a victorious tournament with 16 goals scored for.
