Truck and tractor pull this Friday The 29th annual Bolton Modified Truck and Tractor Pull gets under way at 6 p.m. this Friday (June 29) at the Bolton Fairgrounds. Admission is $12 for adults and children under 12 are $2. With the addition of soccer fields to the fairgrounds, parking will be very limited. Organizers are encouraging people to ride the free shuttle bus service again this year. The bus service will run between 5 p.m. and midnight and will travel between the Caledon Centre for Recreation & Wellness and Queensgate Blvd. Parking is available at the back gravel parking lot at the Caledon Wellness Centre, in the Green P lot downtown or on designated areas along Regional Road 50. The first pull class of the evening will be the 5,500- pound 4x4 Stock Trucks. The classes to follow are the 8,000 lb. ProStreet Diesel 4x4 Trucks, the 7,000 lb. ProStock Tractors, the 8,000 lb. Pro Modified Diesel 4x4 Trucks, the 5,800 lb. Modified Tractors, the 6,000 lb. Superstock 4x4 Trucks, the 12,000 lb. Modified Stock Farm Tractors, the 6,200 lb. Super Modified 4WD Trucks, the 10,000 lb. Heavy ProStock Tractors, the 6,200 lb. 2WD Modified Trucks and rounding out the evening will be the Highway Tractors. The big feature of the evening will be the Multi Engine Tractors which will pull at 9:45 p.m. You won't want to miss it. Hey kids, be sure to enter the draw for your chance to win a pedal tractor or a mountain bike. The draw will be held at 9:30 p.m. Entry forms are available on the society's Web site and in the Kidsland area at the tractor pull. There will also be a bouncy house, temporary tattoos, balloons and pony rides. This event would not be possible every year without the kind generosity of sponsors and the society thanks them for their continuous support.
