Bandits tyke 1 win double-header The Bandits tyke 1 team faced off against both Orangeville's tyke 1 and tyke 2 teams in a gritty twogame series. Game 1 in Orangeville proved to be an exciting first period with the Bandits' Nicholas Saville riveting the first goal past a stunned Orangeville goalie. Although the Northmen responded quickly to tie up the game, this would be the only goal they would produce for the evening. The Bandits dominated play for the remainder of the game. Goal-scorers for the game included Ryan Radisa with a hat trick, Saville (5) and singles by Matthew Impey, Ronald Rout, Noah Rebellato, Tyler Ellis and Andrew Rybka. In the second and third periods the Bandits demonstrated some awesome passing plays with assists going to Impey (3), Ellis (3), the Mora brothers and the Rebellato brothers. The Bandits won easily 13-1. Game 2 at home proved to be a much more evenly matched game against the ominous Orangeville 1 team. Orangeville scored first, but Impey quickly tied the score with his first of two goals. The tough tykes battled it out with goals from Saville, Radisa and finally Rybka. Great defensive plays from Keaton Wilson, Luca Mazzo and Ellis along with great goaltending from Samantha Hillson and Eric Becker allowed the Bandits to hold onto a 5-4 lead and win the game. An exciting game was seen by all! The team would like to thank their sponsor Just Lubes in Bolton.
