Libraries close for staff PD days

Thursday, June 14 and Friday, June 15, the Caledon Public Library will be hosting their fourth annual staff training and development forum. The Caledon East library will be open from 9 a.m. 3 p.m. June 14. All other libraries will be closed both days. All drop boxes will be open and no overdue fines will be levied on these days.

The focus of the two-day program will be providing a learning environment for staff that supports their needs and encourages them to develop professionally.

"This is another way the Caledon Public Library is working to strengthen the organization and effectiveness of library staff," said CEO Bill Manson. "With seven branches located throughout Caledon, it is rare that staff from all locations are able to come together to learn, plan and share new ideas."
