Skate park rules adopted The rules for the Caledon Skate Park were adopted by Caledon council at its June 5 meeting. The bylaw enacted by council states the skate park is intended and designed for skate board use only. The park shouldn't be used in the dark or during wet or icy conditions or during inclement weather. No glass container or other breakable item, and no metal can or other sharp object should be used for any purpose in the park. A child's parent or legal guardian should accompany and supervise any child in the park. The rules also state every person using the Caledon Skate Park does so at their own risk and should wear a CSA approved helmet and protective gear, and should inspect the park before skateboarding to ensure no dangerous conditions exist, and should demonstrate respect for other people using the park. Councillor Annette Groves said it's important the users make sure the park is clean and used properly. |
