Volunteer is remembered
It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our dear friend and long-time volunteer of Caledon Community Services, Kathie Roode. Kathie offered CCS her time and energy at our Chez Thrift store for more than 10 years and left a lasting impression on her community.

Kathie will be fondly remembered by everyone at Chez Thrift for her kindness, her loving nature, those wonderful Chez Thrift toy bags, the terrific Saturday snacks, her laughter, and for her very generous spirit.

Kathie spent a great deal of her life as a teacher and to honour her dedication to children, the staff and volunteers of Chez Thrift will be taking up a collection for the Kidz To Kamp campaign in her name.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends at this difficult time. May the knowledge of Kathie's lasting impact on this community bring you some comfort. She will be greatly missed by all of us.
