Volunteer is remembered
      It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our dear friend and long-time volunteer of Caledon Community Services, Kathie Roode. Kathie offered CCS her time and energy at our Chez Thrift store for more than 10 years and left a lasting impression on her community.

Firefighters are thanked
      I have always had lots of respect for firefighters in general, and May 28 at 7 p.m. we had a tractor catch fire which set another tractor on fire and may have caught onto many more vehicles and buildings had it not been for the immediate response of the volunteer Caledon fire department.
