Earth Rangers' family fun day

Running and maintaining a LEED® Gold facility, caring for Animal Ambassadors and getting a positive message out to children, would be impossible without donations and support from the community. In order to acknowledge supporters, Earth Rangers' chairman and CEO, Robert Schad and staff, are hosting a family fun day Saturday, June 16 at the Earth Rangers facility in Woodbridge.

"Earth Rangers is dedicated to inspiring children with a lasting passion to build a better future," said Schad, chairman and CEO, Earth Rangers. "We are able to do so through our educational programs aimed at school-aged children and through our facility where we act responsibly and model positive change."

From January 2006 to December 2006, Earth Rangers, an environmental non-profit organization raised more than $3 million dollars from donors and supporters which ensures that their programming and the facility be maintained for years to come.

The family fun day features an environmental craft, lunch, the Earth Rangers all ages show, a meeting with the Animal Ambassadors and a performance by Canada's own, Chris McKhool. McKhool is an ambassador for the environment

who spreads his message to children and adults through song.

"Without our supporters Earth Rangers would be unable to reach as many children as we do," said Scott Beffort, vice-president marketing-development, Earth Rangers. "We are fortunate that so many wonderful individuals and organizations support us and believe in the reach of environmental education and the power of inspiration."

While children are being informed and educated on the importance of preserving the environment, parents will tour the Earth Rangers LEED® Gold facility and see their pledges and donations realized throughout the centre itself and its various educational programs.

Earth Rangers was established in 1999 by chairman and CEO, Robert Schad. For further information please visit, www.earthrangers.ca or call 905-417-3447.
