Bolton Wanderers Soccer Club kicks off the season

      Bolton Wanderers Soccer Club officially opened its recreational season this past Saturday at Edelweiss park. Traditional opening day festivities involving players as young as age four took place over the entire weekend, with games, a BBQ and more.

      Barrie traveled to Bolton May 14 for the first meeting of these two midget baseball teams. The Bolton Braves, unfortunately had difficulty with the bats and despite getting runners on base, had trouble bringing them home.

      Down 3-1 at the half, Wanderers' Havenwood Homes under 8 girls' select squad rallied with five minutes remaining to earn a 5-5 draw with visiting Brampton "B" in recent Under 9 Peel Halton Soccer League action. Jessica Dodig led the way for the younger Wanderers with a hat trick.
