Online reporting makes roads safer

The Road Watch program in Caledon made another great stride for road safety by launching their online reporting service, May l (visit www.roadwatchcaledon.ca).

Online reporting is just another way that residents of the Town of Caledon can report aggressive, unsafe driving in our town by simply logging on to the Web site.

The online reporting form is easy to use and the best part is that it is automatically logged into the OPP system much quicker then using the drop off boxes.

"The drop-off boxes will continue to be used, the online reporting form is just another tool to get residents involved in keeping their roads safe," said Jackie Flynn, chair of Road Watch Caledon. "Online reporting may be easier for many, to go home and boot up the computer and the report can be filled out and sent in a matter of minutes."

Road Watch Caledon has also created a new sponsorship program this year which many companies have committed to. A special thanks to Terra Discovery, Molson's Canada, Concreate USL Ltd., Bolton Optometry Clinic, BP Landscaping and the personal sponsorship from local families.

"We look forward to working with these companies and many more as we create new awareness tools for the safety of our roads and residents."
