The Rotary Club of Bolton presented a cheque for $2,000 to the Abbeyfield Houses

of Caledon, following their annual golf tournament held at Glen Eagle last week.

Proceeds came from last year's tournament. Reg Lashbrook, Rotary's chair of community

giving (left) and President Scott Hurren (right) present the cheque to

Abbeyfield's Jim Galloway. Abbeyfield is committed to raising the funds necessary to

build a house for independent seniors in Caledon East. Construction of the 12-room

residence is expected early in 2008.
