Celebrate Seniors' Month this June at the centre Peonies with variety and years of beauty and roses with their classic beauty and fragrance say this is our month to shine. June is Seniors Month! Our Caledon Seniors' Centre's peonies and roses welcome you. Inside and out we have activities to suit your tastes. The Caledon Active Seniors' Centre is hosting our third annual members In-house Friendly Games. You can still join and participate. $15/year memberships are available anytime. A $10 game fee allows participation in multiple games and attendance at the awards luncheon held Thursday, June 28, at noon. Expansion is in the air and your opinions are required. Architectural proposals are available at the centre to view. These are initial concepts only. Members. friends, renters, users all, we welcome your opinions and suggestions. Your opinions and suggestions are required. Contact any member of our long-range planning committee or our president Monica Smith or any of our directors and Beverly Nurden, centre manager, to make your opinion known. Our committee will arrange informative presentations to you to ensure your opportunity to participate. Be a Caledon active centre booster! Now is the time not later. We anticipate receiving acceptance of our submission for charitable status. When we do, Don Dalgleish and our fundraising committee will present proposals for review of our Caledon active senior centre program for fundraising. We know you eagerly await this primary step in our centre's longrange plan for improvement. Our Caledon Characters made May 25 a handclapping, toe-tapping, singing, dancing, third year musical revue (We've come a long way, Baby) a highlight. Great preparation, great support and a grand presentation to a full house made it the place to be. Congratulations to Irene Stephenson and Company a great cast of "characters." We eagerly await production four! June Highlights All regular activities not conflicting with the In- House Friendly Games schedules will be available. Euchre, bridge at 1 p.m., lunch, every Friday, and bridge, euchre and choice of games at 7. Thursday, June 7, Toronto city tour, including transportation, Town & Country Buffet, boat cruise, all for $72/person. Thursday, June 14, PROBUS, 9:30 a.m. meet and greet, with speaker at 10. Monday, June 25, noon lunch. Every Monday & Wednesday lunch is served. First Wednesday of month is a birthday & anniversary celebration. Make yours ours. Wednesday, June 27, is our grand pot luck luncheon. Feed the pot or pay. Your variety makes our spice. Friday, June 29 at 9:30 a.m.,bid euchre & bridge lessons. Noon lunch.
