Friends hold AGM, election

The Friends of the Caledon Library will be holding their annual general meeting including the election of officers Saturday, June 2, at 10 a.m. at the Caledon East Branch. The Friends of the Library is a non-profit group of volunteers who act as advocates of the Caledon Public Library by promoting the services and resources, fund-raising and sponsorship. If you are passionate about public libraries and care about what they have to offer you, your family and your community, consider joining this organization. Your membership offers you the opportunity to share thoughts, donate your time and lend your talents. Members of the public are invited to come out, meet the new executive and learn more about the Friends of the Caledon Public Library and their fund-raising endeavors. Refreshments will be served.
