Players needed for ladies soccer league

The Caledon Soccer Clubs' recreational ladies league is still looking for players ages 21 and over to play this summer. The ladies play in Caledon East on Wednesday nights at 9:15 p.m. starting in early June. The league has games scheduled through to September.

"It's really a lot of fun and I look at it as a ladies night out," said Betsy Sharples, convener for the ladies league. "This will be our sixth season. The league is about having fun, getting a good workout from the running, meeting new people and having a few laughs after the game."

Teams are still looking for players, all ability levels are welcome.

"We have ladies ranging from all ability levels and backgrounds. We do our best to balance the teams because while we do keep score, the league is recreational not highly competitive," added Sharples.

Deadline for players is May 25, after that date a late registration fee will apply. You can get signed onto a team by visiting caledonsoccer. com or by contacting Betsy Sharples at 905-880-7692 or Anne DeCraemer at 905-584-6811.
