Fishing weekend proclaimed

Friday, July 6 through Sunday, July 8 was recently proclaimed Family Fishing Weekend in Caledon by Caledon council.

The province, in partnership with many nongovernment organizations like the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, declares one summer weekend a licence-free fishing weekend.

This special weekend, in conjunction with the national Fishing Week, includes fish festivals, clinics or conservation and educational activities.
